You simply never know when you will face a survival situation and the reality is if you live in certain areas of the country, you may have to evacuate to avoid weather or in the aftermath of a disaster.
With this type of a survival system, however, if you do have to spend a ton of time in transport, you would have an incredible refuge with all your survival gear readily at hand – plus, if you did it exactly like this guy, you'd have an actual bed.
