It takes a certain mindset to be a survivalist, whether you are preparing for a SHTF moment, a longer term survival situation or even if you end up in a survival situation that just popped up, but is not because of some dire crisis.
That mindset is to always be prepared or to be as prepared as possible for whatever might spring up, which means we are always looking for ways to increase our options if we end up facing a survival environment.
This guy set up his truck to be an awesome “roving survival vehicle,” of sorts, even if all he planned on doing was making a campaign trip a little more comfortable.
In a situation where you have to evacuate – like right before a hurricane – this system would be ideal. Even if lodging is booked for miles, you still would have a comfortable option.
