When SHTF, weapons are going to be in high demand for you and everybody else. They are going to be useful for hunting various large and small game to keep food on the table long after your stores have run out. You can also use them for bartering later on if you have enough guns in your arsenal.

Perhaps their most important use, though, will be in defending your home and your family from the ravaging of other survivors and criminals in the post-collapse world.

Hopefully, this world will not last indefinitely, but you'll want to be prepared for as long as possible, meaning you'll need a variety of firearms at your disposal for different purposes.

To see the most sought-after weapons in the prepper's arsenal, check out the list on the next page.

I think you guys overlook single action revolvers lever action rifles they are time tested and they are harder than hell to break and in some cases you can shoot them faster than other guns

Mosin Nagants. Cheap enough to own a bunch in order to barter a few and ugly enough it won’t break your heart to do so. Ammo is cheap so you can stock a bunch. Reesonably accurate and does not lack for power. All the other weapons lusted are good to go. Just wanted to add the Nagant to the discussion.

I really do not agree with this list . They said bushmaster ar 15 . Well what makes it better nothing and in most cases it’s a bottom line . And not sure about the glock 36 . What caliber is that amd I thought the 42 and 43 were the 2 that only held 6. There list is bogus. I believe someone got a little kick back from the manufacturer for being so specific
