PVC pipe. It's incredibly durable, cheap, and has about a million uses. It's also ugly as sin. It's the unsightly wart of the unfinished basement, jutting out of the walls and taking away from whatever aesthetics any space may have had. Of course, you could cover the piping with expensive woodwork or go through a lot of extra trouble to hide it in the walls, but these things are costly. So what can you do to make these heavy plastic pipes more visually appealing?
Why not make them look like something else? Like an attractive beam of wood? With a bit of elbow grease and dye, your PVC pipes could take new life appearing like a heavy wooden beam or pole.
