In an ideal situation, we are safely in our homes and away from the chaos when SHTF. But we know that doesn’t always happen.

Sometimes we are out in the middle of a daily routine, sitting in traffic, waiting in line at the grocery store, and then forced to respond to the emergency with dozens – or even hundreds – of other people that don’t know what they’re doing.

Since human nature is to panic in the midst of a crisis, it’s important to pay attention. You probably have your plan already in place, and you just have to get home to grab your bug out bag and hit the road.

But most people will have absolutely no idea what they’re doing or where they’re going. They will most likely be screaming and running around, swarming the exits.

So here are some reminders to make sure you don’t get stuck when an emergency situation happens and how to know when things are about to get stupid…
