In the event of an emergency or disaster, we want to ensure we have the essentials necessary to survive. One of the biggest, if not the biggest obstacle to a long and safe survival journey, is to have enough food to sustain yourself and your family for a duration none of us can know for sure.

Many of us have been storing for a period of time. Stocking our pantry or garage, etc., but there is no denying that certain foods, should they be freeze dried, MREs, fresh or from our grocer’s freezer, are expensive.

Food needs to be stockpiled just in case these disasters occur and to do it efficiently and inexpensively you need to have a plan.
