North America’s Most Venomous Spiders Are Shocking. #4 is a Lot More Common Than Many Originally Thought!

Hobo spider

Black widow spiders are not to be trifled with. It turns out a single bite can cause vomiting, and if you're old or small without a strong system, you could die. If you do get bit by a black widow and start having a severe reaction, it's best to get help right away.

A black widow spider produces a protein venom that can affect a person's nervous system. Whereas some people will only slightly be affected by the venom, others may have a severe response. If you were to get bit by this famous spider, you would first feel acute pain, even though the local reaction may be minimal.

The Black Widow Spider is notorious at being one of the most venomous spiders in the world. It inflicts a painful bite which can be fatal, especially to the young and elderly. Only a small amount of venom can cause serious illness, as the neurotoxic poison (which is 15 times as toxic as the venom of a prairie rattlesnake) attacks the nervous system. Systemic envenomisation usually results in headache, nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, pyrexia and hypertension. Though the pain around the bite area can be extremely painful, it sometimes goes unnoticed. First aid and medical attention should be sought as soon as possible. People with heart condition or other heart problem, may require hospitalization.

After the break, learn about a spider bite that may at first be painless, but soon after the consequences can be severe. Check out what important sign to look out for if you do get bit by this monstrous spider next!

our most poisioness spider believe it or not is a grandaddy long leggs but his poison is in his skin. thats why chickens birds or nothing else will eat them

Grand daddy long legs are harvest men, they’re not spiders, they only have one body segment instead of three. They do have venom but cannot bite us, they are poisonous to eat. That’s the only way they can hurt you.
