No Place to Bug-Out? Try This!

bug out shelter

In the lead-up to a hurricane approaching landfall – a true SHTF moment – everyone in its immediate path is pleaded with by the authorities to evacuate.

If the storm is big enough, literally thousands batten down their property and make arrangements to bug-out before the storm hits land.

For many, evacuating means getting to a safe place, usually a primary home inland, out of the storm's path or at least far away enough that the force of the storm will have dissipated and the threat of flooding is not as severe.

What happens, though, to those who do not have a property or home to go to? Where to they go?

The video on the next page covers one possibility for bugging-out even if you do not have a second property or home to go to.
