Make Hunting Easy with This DIY Snare Trap for the Spring

spring snare snap

If you were faced with a survival situation, ideally, you would have enough food stored so that having to catch your food would only be something you would have to worry about after a prolonged period of time.

In a longer-term survival situation, however, finding your food for meat may become an inevitability and one way of doing that is trapping small game.

Knowing how to trap game requires little energy beyond building the trap and it saves ammunition that can be used for hunting larger animals or for self-protection.

A well-placed trap is as effective as any form of hunting and securing small game.

Building snares and traps, however, is not something that is easily done without practice.

Sure, food is readily available. You realize though, if the grid goes down, food in stores will run completely out in about 1 day….

Uh huh.. Where are you going to trap in Central PARK? I think our time and money is better spent figuring out how to make sure the grid NEVER GOES DOWN rather than WASTE like the F-35.

We live in rural oregon. Lose power quite often. Do this, shut off your breaker panel for 30 days, then come back with an educated response. Living with no electricity is so very enlightening.
