Activated Charcoal is an amazing tool you can use when treating a case of internal poisoning.

The charcoal, when ingested as a slurry, bonds to the poison and prevents the body from absorbing it.

Ideally, if someone is poisoned, you can get them to a doctor, but in a survival situation, that may not be possible, so keeping a stock of Activated Charcoal on hand for just such an emergency is critical.
