He Came Across an Abandoned Bug Out Cabin. When He Looked Inside? I Didn’t Expect THIS!

abandoned bug out cabin

For preppers who enjoy exploring the woods, they're likely to find all sorts of treasures.

Recently a survivalist took a long walk in the woods and encountered something incredible — an abandoned cabin that was likely used as a fishing or hunting camp. Today it might work as a bug out cabin if someone puts it to good use!

This cabin is rough-hewn with zero amenities, but it's pretty remarkable to get a glimpse into someone's past experiences.

Plus, during a collapse having a bug out cabin like this to retreat to would be a blessing and could work as a place to hunker down until the initial attack is over.

When you're bugging out in the woods you just never know when you may find, like this cabin!

Check out what this cabin looks like after the break on a video — I didn't expect this!

Doesn’t look that abandoned. Most of the stuff looks new. Probably a hunting cabin that hasn’t been used since last season or so.

Yeah definitely not abandoned. And now youre tresspassing, breaking and entering and youre armed. People think they can do whatever they want. If its not yours dont touch it. Simple. People own places like that to be left alone, and they still have assholes messing with their$#%&!@* Smh.

sorry but cabin isn’t 20 years old, plywood like that will not handle the weather, and still look that good

Was gonna say, sure are well maintained trails to an “abandoned” location.

Don’t know why this guy thinks he can just walk in and take over, most people won’t take kindly to finding you on their property like you own it

Everett Walker this looks like your kind of place. Has good location with cover, plenty of room to hunt and running water.

Giving Jeepers a bad name. And I’m surprised the bullet holes in the door didn’t get mentioned by him!

Doubt it been abandoned for twenty years …. Looks well kept …. Notice he didn’t really cover what he found stored in bottom …. And that Rodda Mouse killer is definitely new not faded one but ….. Someone’s old mining cabin maybe but used by locals for hunting now I bet ….. Find out if on private or public land and if public lay a claim for mineral rights including the cabin area and presto it’s yours as long as you hold the mineral claim ……

I was so relieved he was armed. You know, in case he ran into the people who had a right to be there.

I know right! Looks like it was probably used last hunting season to me…

Not cool going up in someone’s place. If you’re in a bind that’s a whole different story but it obviously wasn’t your hunting camp… There’s a reason most will leave a camp open, for someone who finds themselves in trouble. More than likely there’s a couple cans of food and a lighter in there for that reason. Another reason is so assholes don’t break anything to be nosey!!!

You have to wonder how and how long it took that person to lug all that wood way out there.

I like how that word,”abandoned” is used so freely nowadays.Like it doesnt belong to anyone just because it`s vacant.

This article is encouraging folks to break, and enter someone elses property.
