Do You Know These Natural Medicines? We’d Never Heard Of Oregano Oil Before…

You've probably spoken to friends and family members about natural remedies but haven't given them a try. Believe it or not, but you can have all you need to feel better in your own cabinet! Do enough research, ask your friends and you'll know the basics on what ingredients can help you during an emergency.

Natural remedies and health products are growing in popularity as people start to place more value on natural alternatives. But making the switch from a traditional medicine cabinet to a more natural one can feel a bit overwhelming!

Essential oils

Essential oils really are the backbone of my “natural medicine cabinet.”

Shield blend

Shield is a proprietary blend by Spark Naturals of clove, cinnamon, lemon, eucalyptus and rosemary oils that’s great for diffusing or applying topically to help ward off any colds or flus that are going around.

L.L.P. blend (or Lemon, Lavender, and Peppermint oils)

Lemon, Lavender, and Peppermint all have many uses individually, but together they make one of the best remedies for allergies I’ve ever tried.

Melaleuca oil

Melaleuca oil is a powerhouse when it comes to treating a preventing infection, so it’s great to have around!

Oregano oil

Oregano oil, along with Melaleuca oil and Shield blend, can be used to create of my favorite remedies, the Cold and Flu Bomb.

Coconut oil

Coconut oil has tons of healthy fat that make it a great choice to use in cooking or baking.

Honey

Raw honey has antibacterial and moisturizing properties that make it a great addition to your medicine cabinet.

In addition to using these natural remedies for a crisis, they're also great to have for everyday use. Read up on more natural remedies to consider using on One Good Thing.

Use them for food, healing from the flu, and even to get over allergies while you're out in the wilderness! Who knows, a natural remedy may end up being more effective than the other medicine you use!

I’m adding Garlic salt to my first aid kit.
Lost a big chunk of skin the other day and it stopped the bleeding, Prevented infection and formed a nice low flexible protective micro skin instead of a hard crusty scab.
Two thumbs up in my book!
