Building a Cold Spring House for FREE Refrigeration

One of the great challenges of homesteading or building a secure bug-out encampment is ensuring there's access to clean water.

It's possible to try and dig a well, but that can get costly depending on the location.

Some people rely on getting shipments of water, but that means giving away the location or venturing out into the world that many are trying to avoid (in a bug-out situation.) It also is a ton of work that is constant.

If you have access to a stream or creek, though, you could consider building a cold springhouse.

This structure lets you divert water from the free flowing body of water and pipe it down into your living structure.
