An Imminent Massive Earthquake Will Soon Devastate the Pacific Northwest

The Pacific Northwest could get hit by a massive earthquake in the future, but it may not happen how most people would think. Scientists recently learned the Cascadia subduction zone and this zone poses a huge risk of seismic activity.

The Cascadia subduction zone is 30 times the size of California's San Andreas fault. In fact, it includes Washington, Vancouver Island, Oregon, and Northern California. It also happens to be located in the well-known King of Fire zone.

Scientists are predicting that the earthquake will take place sometime in the next 50 years. There's also a 1 in 10 chance the earthquake could be devastating. Now, this may not seem like a big chance, but we must always be prepared.

Some experts are predicting that the earthquake could be anywhere between 8.7 and 9.2. There's also a strong possibility of a tsunami developing that would be around 100 feet high.
