After Doomsday a Prepper Will Eventually Run Out of Ammo. Here’s How to Make Gunpowder the Old Fashioned Way.

Gunpowder

SHTF normally mainly focuses on short-term survival situations where after you're done feeling shocked, it's usually only days or hours before the before the situation is over.

However, not all collapses are temporary. How can a prepper know for certain that when the collapse takes place that it isn't permanent? You never know, a man-made or natural disaster could wipe out everything except for the people who have survived it thanks to their sturdy bunkers.

The potential of a long-term bug out situation is why preppers believe it's so important to understand the skills on how to make essential items such as weapons and specifically, gunpowder.

If a prepper is wise, they will have already been stocking up food to last them a while, however, when it's all used it they will need weapons to help them catch food. When ammunition is gone it's important to know how to make more of it.

On the next page, check out step-by-step instructions on how to make gunpowder for a long-term SHTF situation and add this essential skill to your survival expertise.

    Say again?

“they will need weapons to help them catch food.”

What ‘food’? They gonna hunt each other to eat?

“wipe out everything except for the people who have survived”

you can make it with wood and sulfure, the wood you can use to get potassium nitrate after you burn it, the ashes left over are salts.
    Salt peter is KaNO3
Then sulphur you can get from some wells from ground water.
Charcoal you can make from wood too.

the main use of ammo during a doomsday scenario would be currency IMO.

I think most people will be so heavily armed, that we would all get along remarkably well, conflicts would be rare. people would learn to cooperate.

If$#%&!@*went south I would first of all never use a single bullet to hunt food I’d use a trap or build a bow bullets should only be used for protection with lots of threat present to justify using ammo

You assume the likely hood of a dooms day event or even a what people on this forum are calling a SHTF moment couldn’t touch a bunker. That in itself is silly, good family friends and the ability to communicate after the power is off is king. I can think of many scenarios where ammunition would be scarce. One example is arming the non prepers of whom you trust that were not smart or able to do so before hand because like you said Rambo$#%&!@*doesn’t work. So with that being established, how many prepers live right next door to each other versus people who just have a couple of rifles in thier cabinets. Another scenario is keeping all the people you don’t want around you or family away. There would be gangs of dooms day retards trying to survive after resources became scare trying to steal and dominate, well idk about you but small proxy wars with thugs and bullys wherever you may be would go through rounds quite fast. I get what you are saying Billy but there is no math to the unknown. And sure as hell is there no absolute plan, so learn more absorb knowledge so that when SHTF so dumb all these acronyms, then you can say hey today I’ve got 1000rds, or perhaps the next day say hey I’ve got to fab up some arrows. A knife and bow will more effective at this point.

Good things to know just in case no matter what it is.. take knowledge learn it and teach others… it’s also good to know how to make non- gun weapons, bows, spears, arrows, traps can go along way to help… besides the loud bang of a gun can attrack others you might not want around

I love it when liberals try to tell me that the Democrats, “are not going after the Firearms”… this is one of the few true statements that is made by the Democrats; they’re no longer going after the firearms because of it that’s blatant disregard for the Second Amendment, they’ve chosen to go after the ammunition to include closing the last lead smelting plant in Illinois!
