20 Affordable Items That’ll be Priceless Post-Collapse

There are so many things we take for granted. Little things like toilet paper, for instance, will be worth its weight in gold post-collapse.

Think about it logically. When SHTF stores are bought out, or everything will be looted, and trains, trucks, and planes that usually bring items into the states will be few and far between due to safety concerns.

Depending on the SHTF situation at hand, you and your family may need to hunker down in your shelter or bug out home for weeks or even months. If this is the case, you will need to rely on everything you have stockpiled for survival and comfort.

Eventually, when the coast is clear for the time being, neighbors and other preppers who are ill-prepared will show up and ask you if you have this and that. You may give them an item or two out of the goodness of your heart, but not for long.

If you want to be ahead of everyone else before SHTF then check out these 20 items that are currently inexpensive, but as soon as the grid goes down, you better believe these things and more will become priceless.

Read the first hand accounts of people from Bosnia and it makes this list BS. Ammo first aid items and medicines were the best things on here.

GUNS AND BULLETS, that’s all you need, you can get every thing else with guns and bullets. FACT

Super Glue. Can be used for many things including closing wounds and fixing broken teeth.

I agree 100% with Marty. For instance, if you are going to stockpile alcoholic beverages, make it high proof grain alcohol that can also be used as a wound cleanser and antiseptic if needed. To hell with wine.

Ranch is made with milk and will spoil in short order without refrigeration. Most hot sauces are made with vinegar and that is about the best liquid preservative you can have.

Water, or water filter, dried foods, seeds, vitamins, knife, guns, ammo. Everything else you can scavenge, but your going to need protection when your on the move. Things like ammo, guns, water, food, gas or propane, or medicine will be like gold in a blackout situation where bartering will be the only currency. If it were me I would look to get to a less populated area where I can set up to be as self sustainable and protect myself or my family easier.

Sorry, but I’m not falling for the bait of flipping through 10 to 20 pages of your Ad filled article and adware or Malware. You can keep your article. There are plenty of CREDIBLE sources on the same subject (that you probably copied anyway) where I won’t be baited to your site and bombarded with overloaded pages of advertising.

Chem-lites have a relatively short shelf life and are one-time use only, I’d rather have kerosene lantern. No salt! Salt licks used to be fought over. Need iodized to prevent goiter, and mobilized for fermenting veggies and preserving food….

Everclear , high octane bioze and antiseptic and lantern fuelnall in one

“Cheap wine” actually only has a shelf life of about one year. Better idea to learn something about it and purchase items with a longer aging curve. Wine also has many health benefits including nutrients and nutrient absorption from food.

For bugging in this could work but high proof spirits are antiseptic and have excellent trade value and almost an unlimited shelf life in glass.

I like how everyone thinks they are going to survive and its going to be like a mad maxx movie. When the “apocalypse” happens you’re all going to be either dead or imprisoned slaves.

Bic lighters, magnifying glass, plastic water jugs, a good bow and plenty of arrows, 55 gallon drums plastic and steel, booze, CB radio, cloth baby diapers, old news papers and phone books dried beans, rice, noodles, good sharp knives, old glass jars with lids, there are so many things that can be useful.
