It possibly is the most versatile utility you can include in your bug-out bag or survival kit and it is far more likely you will run out of duct tape before you run out of ways to use it.

Fire making isn’t on this list? I’m a logger and make fires at work all winter using duct tape because I can wrap a bunch around a lighter and get some pitch wood and build a very quick fire. Duct tape burns great for those who might not know.
I’ve already started stocking up on duct tape. As they say “If you can’t duc’ it, fuc’ it!”

Last year we got caught In a downpour while hiking, boots got total soaked thru. It takes a long time to dry boots out by a fire, so while we waited we made shoes out of duck tape and tree bark. Worked like a champ!
