15. Use a baby wipes dispenser as a mini bait ice chest.
It's easy to protect cut bait from the birds, bugs, and sun by utilizing a baby wipes dispenser. Remove and get rid of the soft rubber dispenser flap under the lid. After that fill a sandwich bag three-quarters full with water. Then burp and seal it and put the bag in the box before you freeze it.
Then while you're fishing you can access the bait through the door on the top.
16. Create your own primitive fishing gear.
If fishing isn't for you, chances are you haven't taken the time to acquire much experience in this area. But what if you are invited to join your friends, or you have to impress your girlfriend's father? Then it may be conducive to your reputation and your good health to have a few tricks up your sleeves.
Sure, your casting may be sloppy and you may drag your line through the weeds at every turn, but if you can distract from these things with a few neat tricks, like fishing knots or adding weight to your lure to make it move more through the water, chances are your buddies won't even notice your lack of actual skill. But if you're already awesome at fishing, these tricks will make you look like a god. Either way, it's a win.
