I've said it before and I'll say it again – I spend a LOT of my free time in the kitchen. And that's not a bad thing, I enjoy cooking and preparing meals, etc. But something I love even more is discovering new tools, recipes and hacks that make my life easier. I'm hoping at some point they will invent a machine that makes mashed potatoes. Not multiple machines for each stage of the process. I'm looking for ONE machine that takes the potatoes, peels them, cooks them, and mashes them to perfection (I'm weird, I don't like lumps at all). I suppose I could manage adding salt, pepper, milk, butter, and plain Greek yogurt on my own. Yes. I said Greek yogurt. And if you haven't substituted sour cream with Greek yogurt yet, you simply must. It's delicious and I'm pretty sure its healthier than sour cream. If you try it and like it, let me know!
Anyhow – since I don't think the “mashed potato maker” will be created and available in my kitchen cupboard any time soon, I'd like to take advantage of the hacks that currently exist and put them to good use. Please take a look at page 2 so you can see how to improve your kitchen skills!
