If you're just starting out into the Survivalist world then there are a few lessons you need to learn. Obviously, beginner first aid and survival skills are a must!

One of those skills includes finding or making a shelter. While more advanced survivalists can make their own using natural resources found in their surroundings, it's definitely ok to start off with a sleeping bag, hammock or tent.
