Survival caches are one way of making sure you have an emergency supply of food, gear, and materials in the event you find yourself prevented from getting to your bug-in or bug-out location.

By strategically placing a cache in likely but hidden places on and around your property, you allow yourself to gear up quickly without having to reveal your presence, which in some cases, can be a necessary thing.

You also can store caches around where you live, hunt, camp, fish or hike, just in case you need them in the event of an emergency.

Store bought caches are great, but can get pricey – but luckily, you can make your own for a fraction of what you would pay in a store!
