When SHTF, every prepper will wish that had thought to pack these crucial supplies!

Chances are when a collapse occurs; everything will be very chaotic. Your home might be flooded, or a tornado might have destroyed it. It might not be safe for you to stay there let alone go back inside and try to grab items that you need.

If your home is still standing after a collapse, many thoughts may be running through your head. Your bug out gear should be set to take with you, and you should have a shelter in mind that you will be relocating to.

If this is not the case, you might want to think about including these additional items in your bug out gear now before a collapse takes place.

Even if you have been prepping for a long time, it is still possible to forget items that might be vital later.

To learn the ten items that every prepper will wish they had after a collapse, please head on over to the next page.

Barter items: coffee, cigs, booze- these will be in high demand and easy to break down into smaller qtys

Knowledge/Skills and a couple of books.. Peterson Field Guide of Medicinal/Edible Plants and any Survival Guide (I have FM-2176)…. You can have all the gear in the world but if you don’t have the knowledge or skills to use it it’s USELESS i.e. A friend and I use to go camping 2/3 times a year.. We would bring his kids, other friends or just go ourselves ( for those buttheads with a stupid comment.. Yes our own tents) .. One trip another person (Sam(Such A MORON) who had just bought $400+ in gear) wanted to go “Camping” because we would talk about how fun it was..Long story short He could not set up his tent with instructions. He didn’t know why we dug a hole put coals in it put grill over it.

I’m surprised such things like vitamins, antibiotics, or topography maps weren’t listed.

Good solid advice … I would however like to add to it … animal traps, fishing gear, bow/crossbow, pellet gun and a good knife
