10 Supplies People Will Wish They Had Post-Collapse. #10 is Absolutely Imperative!

man standing alone outdoors

When SHTF, every prepper will wish that had thought to pack these crucial supplies!

Chances are when a collapse occurs; everything will be very chaotic. Your home might be flooded, or a tornado might have destroyed it. It might not be safe for you to stay there let alone go back inside and try to grab items that you need.

If your home is still standing after a collapse, many thoughts may be running through your head. Your bug out gear should be set to take with you, and you should have a shelter in mind that you will be relocating to.

If this is not the case, you might want to think about including these additional items in your bug out gear now before a collapse takes place.

Even if you have been prepping for a long time, it is still possible to forget items that might be vital later.

To learn the ten items that every prepper will wish they had after a collapse, please head on over to the next page.

Another bullshit list for imaginary scenario. Just look around the globe at the real ones.
    Toilet paper
    Soap
    Cigarettes
    Alcohol
    Salt
Grains (buckwheat is the best, almost full protein)
    Canned meat
    Backyard garden
And you can stick your firearms up your asses as that is the very last thing you might ever need. Oh well, may be a pellet rifle, those squirrels are mighty good

Pretty big difference between surviving an emp disaster or a SHTF bug out situation. You will need guns because in either case, you will eventually have to deal with survivors from cities or people who think it’s stupid to prepare, swarming out through the country side or suburban areas, looking to kill you and take anything you have for their own families. Either way it will be a survivalist situation.

Ikr? They could’ve at least included a list of the stuff for greenhorns… Sanitary supplies is very general; including info on menstrual cups, items that have multiple uses like wet wipes, and ideas for what you’ll be cleaning, from knife wounds to field dressing an animal, and what you’ll need in each situation, would have been much more useful.

I’d do air rifles or .22 sincerely for crop protection from critters and gives you a few meat options like deer and rabbit

Look into PCP air rifles. I can get up to a .50 cal pellet gun that you can pump with a 3 stage 4,500 psi hand pump

The old adage is that, in times of troulbe, men stockpile food and women stockpile toilet paper.

You can make fun of it all you want but that is from personal experience. Toilet paper and soap disappear first

In my opinion…SHTF…is Not happenning yet because every one has guns….I think it will start with enforcing a mandatory NO gun law and all registered guns will be confiscated….but what do I know?

  12. Adrianna Pelaez said:

It will happen when there is enforced ORDER out of CHAOS even and the right laws are in place….

I think proper clothing and seeds to plant would be good additions to this list…..

some say no weapons….here is a situation for you….that bear or cougar will not under stand your right to bear arms but will definitely volunteer to bare your arms while eating them.

  15. Angie Eagle said:

oops….meant right to not bear arms…..situation like that you will need a weapon ….

  16. Angie Eagle said:

and for the information of the anti-weapons people, my grandma taught me how to down a burglar with a rolling pin or baseball bat so as you can see anything, including your own body, can be used as a weapon……it takes certain weapons for various situations—such as a baseball bat will not stop that angry bear….so please think and stop endangering your loved ones with your “rose colored glasses view of the world”.

I agree with you to a large extent Hermman, but a defense weapon/medium size game gun truly is a necessity. #1 it’s dual purpose. #2 if rule of law breaks down then you don’t own anything that you aren’t able to protect. The best rule of thumb is don’t waste your money buying things you probably aren’t capable of physically defending and keeping in a SHTF scenario.

I can$#%&!@*s**t up with a rock sling, and I usually make that out of 2 lengths of paracord and piece of leather work glove,

Not going to argue. Firearm is a nice thing to have but it’s not a panacea. People put too much faith in them. Personally I think hand gun and a rifle in most common caliber are a good addition and pretty much must have. My original comment was directed at people who envision themselves fighting hordes of zombies/raiders/federal agents wielding a dozen AR15s simultaneously.

lmao well if you didnt know those ten things already…… ya you are not going to last long anyways unless somebody takes you under their wing. and people almost always forget one of the most inportant things. a toothbrush and toothpaste. you will die faster from a tooth abscess than anything

  21. David A. Campbell said:

IMO a lethal weapon is a must in a collapse. Simply because it will be the have nots will kill you by starving you or worse when taking your supplies.

  22. Hermann Kyrychenko said:

Your imaginary collapses never really happen. Yet we have realistic every day disasters we can learn from. As food for thought I would like to suggest civil war in Syria, Sandy, Katrina, collapse of the USSR and the Great Depression . None of those are glamorous, none follow imaginary scenarios preppers in the US are so fond of, but they are really what$#%&!@*hitting the fan looks like.
