People everywhere fear spiders for a good reason. It's likely because of their scary legs, eyes, and intricate webs that they put together to catch their prey.
If you ask a survivalist why they dislike and are afraid of spiders, they'll tell you it's something more, however. The truth is most people don't want to get bit by a venomous spider, especially when they're bugging out.
Most spiders are harmless, but there are a few that can cause grave discomfort if they were to bite you. Luckily the average spider bite is only as painful as a mosquito bite that tends only to get itchy until it heals.
For every spider that won't harm you, there are the few that will and one of those spiders happen to be a brown recluse spider. This spider makes even the bravest of preppers squirm when they stop to think about this creepy crawly venomous spider.
In fact, if you were to get bit by a brown recluse you would need to head to the hospital.
However, what if you were living off the grid, bugging out, or going through a SHTF moment and there was no emergency care available?
After the break, read up on what steps you must take if you get bit by a brown recluse spider when you're living off the grid. If there aren't any hospitals near you don't panic just yet — instead memorize these survival tips so you'll know how to handle a brown recluse bite later.

After a bite from a brown recluse several years ago ,I was directed to soak the affected area in warm water and Tide laundry detergent….worked wonders….infection was completely gone in three days
Ummm…lots of hype here. Most of the time, unless you have chronic illnesses, these aren’t that big of a deal. Antibiotics take care of it, I’ve treated a dozen of these at least and people recover just fine. Activated charcoal? No.
Charcoal….charcoal charcoal charcoal!
Recluse on my shoulder yesterday no bite but nasty fuckers

Been bit twice really hurts after a while.
Awe my unpleasant friend. I look upon my misshapen stomach where you left your mark. I survived and I’m sure my blood coursed through your fangs and brain. I’m sure your eight legs buckled neath the toxins I secreted. No doubt my poisons ended your life as quickly as my two crushing fingers had. I fear you no more.

I’ve been bit 7 times and I survived, first couple of times I felt queasy at first but after that it just hurt until it healed
The ONLY PROVEN way to treat brown recluse bites is to locate a “SEVEN-BARK”, AKA: “WILD HYDRANGEA” plant. Scrape some shavings from the stem, place it directly over the wound and cover it.
My friend was just a couple days from having his leg amputated, but tried this method and healed up perfectly with just a little scarring.
This is not the same thing as your grandma’s Hydrangea plants.
Wtf?? Dude clean up your house..or stop keeping them as pets
They are outside lol

Can you buy those concerned in the Shady Cove area around there all over we’ve got them in this area
This is a bad dude .
Because of one of these little beauties I carry a scar on my left calf that is nothing ore than a healed over dead spot in my leg. I was bitten over thrity years ago, and to this day in that area on my leg I have no feeling. I was fortunate though as I caught it in time and did go to the hospital where I was pumep with anti biotics and a doctor scrubbed the wound down to bare pink flesh with a nylon bristle brush. SO yes if you are bitten by one of these, don’t wait, don’t hesitate, seek medical attention as quickly as possible.
My girlfriend was bite by one of these bastards they are bad news if bite by one rush to hospital like now.
Just use calcium bentonite clay on the bite.
I was bitten on my left leg — antibiotics saved the day, but the leg is still a mess with issues even after 3 yrs.
