Spiders are feared by many people around the world for a reason. It probably has to do with their eyes, scary legs, and the detailed webs they put together and later use to catch their prey.
If you have ever asked a prepper why he doesn't like spiders, he probably told it was because he didn't want to get bit by one. Even though the majority of spiders are harmless — generally the bite of a spider is as itchy as a mosquito bite — there are the occasional spiders that can actually cause you grave harm.
For every spider that won't cause you much harm, there are the few that will cause a lot of discomforts. One such spider is the brown recluse spider. This spider can make the bravest of survivalists squirm when they take the time to think about this venomous creature.
Because they knew if they were to get bit by one they would need a trip to the hospital. However, if a prepper was bugging out that might be a different story. What is a survivalist supposed to do when there's no emergency care available?
On the next page, learn what steps you should take if you are bugging out and get bit by a brown recluse spider. If there aren't any hospitals in your area you must learn how to treat it effectively now — before SHTF.

Use active charcoal on bite and take echinachea follow up with powdered clay after about 2-3 wks

Sticky traps under furniture works well

Friend of mines got bit and was really sick for 6 weeks.
This one is almost all healed up. Almost 6. Weeks
If you get bit by a recluse you need to get to the hospital as soon as possible !
just killed one last night had to look closely but that is exactly what that was
This is a brown recluse spider bite on my grandson that i treated moments after the bite
If someone is living off the grid, how will they read this?
I used tea tree oil after I was bite last year. It healed it up less two weeks still have slight purplish scar
Look at its teeth. Creepy!
Duh! This is meant to give you steps if a hospital isn’t available
The only step if not a hospital is to get a knife and dig all the puss out and it may take several times but the puss will continue to eat away the skin if not takin out !
Got bit once. Used my pocket knife to cut open the wound. Let it bleed a little while before washing it out. Wrapped it in paper towels and duct tape. Scarred about the size of a dime.

We have slot of recluse spiders around my house, with all the trees and shrubs. Activated charcoal paste on the bite and Virginia snake root. Vickie used that on me when I was bit. It was gone in two or three days.
I used dr.scholls freeze spray and it healed up pretty good
I got this 2 weeks ago. It seemed to get better but then got that ring around it. It was painful and swollen at first but the swelling went down after a few days, then it swelled again and was itchy. Now it feels ok but looks crazy. I’m guessing it wasn’t a brown recluse. Any guesses as to what got me?
Two ways.
1) use a low voltage stun gun on spider or snake bites to kill the bacteria in the venom, OR
2) apply colloidal silver to spider bites. It kills the bacteria in the venom. Keep applying until the ire dissappear a (12-24 hrs).
Get checked for Lyme disease. Could be a tick bite.
Did any of you receive super powers?
Your new pet Chris Odom
Got bit by one of these damn things, pure agony!
Ringworm??
That’s ringworm… cover it with clear nail polish 🙂 always worked for us
Ringworm. Put bleach on with a cotton swab through out the day til it dries up. Or if u have access to a fig tree pinch a leaf off and squeeze the milk on it.
Hmm. I know it started as a spider bite while in my basement. But, two days later I was in the river for a float trip. Maybe I picked up ringworm from the water through the bite. I appreciate the input.
I got bit by one made a dead green hole in my leg put me in the hospital for a while
Electricity kills venom, any venom. If you don’t have access to a stun gun, or tens unit, I’ve found that gauze, saturated with antibiotic and ordinary salt can be effective.
This went crawling across me last week . Lol just a wolf spider. That’s a quarter by it .
Check this out. I think it was a recluse. I use lots of hydrogen peroxide to clean it several times a day.
I was bitten many years ago. To found many things effective to treat.
Good read
I am In the hospital right now getting my right middle finger treated for a bite and it sucks.
Activated charcoal
I wonder if a cut potato would draw out the poison? It works great for wasp/ bee stings? If I get stung I swell up crazy, but if I get a potato on it right away, I don’t swell up at all and the pain is gone like right away?
A DEADLY SPECIES!!!!!!!!!!
Activated charcoal. Got a scar that looks like a bullet hole on my inner thigh.
You suck the spider$#%&!@*out, just like you do when a pregnant snake tries to lay it’s eggs in you, right?
Got me pretty good!
