Spiders are feared around the world for a reason. It's likely because they have many legs, eyes, and make intricate webs that look creepy yet beautiful. However, when you ask a person why they fear spiders, they might tell you it's because they bite.

Even though spiders can bite doesn't mean all of them are dangerous. Usually, when a person gets bit by a spider it's only as painful as a mosquito bite.

There are a few spiders that can cause discomfort in even the bravest of survivalists, however. The brown recluse is such a spider and can make about anyone uncomfortable. Get bit by this venomous spider and you would need to go to the hospital. However, if the collapse is taking place you'll be out of luck.

    Activated charcoal works well..crush it to a fine powder add water to make a paste then add a thin layer and let it dry completely AFTER washing it very well with soap and water and even some alcohol if available. .

    Yeah…the ratio is start with the charcoal and add just enough water to make a paste. The article said PASTE not SOUP…so if you’ve added too much water then add more charcoal to thicken it up again. NOT THAT HARD TO FIGURE OUT.

    Don’t put anything on it. If it looks infected put antibiotic ointment on it. Most people don’t feel the bite and have no reaction til 3-4 days after the bite.

    Been bit, had two surgeries and recurring issues. And that’s with proper treatment. Wouldn’t trust it, almost lost my finger.

    The best thing you can do is wash the bite area, and keep an eye on it. There is no anti venom for spider bites. Once the flesh starts dying, hospitals use sterile maggots to eat the dead flesh. Brown recluse and black widow bites won’t kill you.

    The bite of a recluse collapses and eats away all flesh, muscle etc. People have lost legs, arms, even at a hospital after a bite plus some their lives to this spider. Get educated before mouthing off and showing everyone what an uneducated idiot you are..

    I was bit by a Recluse and had to have surgery so I would not lose my hand. Oh did it mess me up. I guess I almost lost what part of my mind is left. It was touch and go. Be carful with spiders..

    take benadryl… go to hospital there is no anti-venom.. you got to have your systen flused with saline and anibiotics…been there done that with Hobo spider same thing…
