If you are already obsessed with Shazam, an app that identifies songs, then you've probably wondered to yourself when we'd be able to Shazam other things.
Well that time has come! For plants, anyway.

The app “PlantNet” works by using an image search engine, with information collected through a large social network.

Their newest project, IdentiPlante, actually allows you to use the database to quickly receive data about the plant which you have taken a picture of. Or, in more fun terms, you can SHAZAM DAT PLANT.

We don't know about you, but this app will be added to our smartphone when it comes out. It's great to have for an emergency situation and if you need to identify a flower or plant that can be used for other benefits besides just beauty, it'll be ideal.
