Why You Should Bug In And How To Do It

If you are reading this, chances are better than even that you have at least a survival cache at home and probably have a bug-out bag as well – not because you are anticipating the end of the world, but because a survival situation can happen just about anytime, anywhere.

For most of us, “bugging out” is the ultimate plan – having a safe location to get to where you can safely survive until the situation has resolved itself.

This is particularly true if you live in an area that can have major storms, wildfires or earthquakes.

What, though, do you do if evacuating just is not that viable of an option, either because of infrastructure failings, immediate danger or the crisis hits too quickly to get to safety.
