When we think about “the collapse” and “the end of days” we, as survivalists, often contemplate how it could happen. We’ve come up with theories about EMPs, bombs, and even the poisoning of our water supply. There really is any number of ways to bring about a catastrophic SHTF scenario.

But in this case, we are going to talk about zombies. Yes, we know. Zombies?! Really? Honestly, it is not so much a zombie apocalypse we are talking about but how mankind will react if something like this were to happen.

The Walking Dead is one of the highest rated shows on cable. It deals with Sherriff Rick Grimes and his gang of survivors, how they deal with the violent world around them once an infection has caused the dead to return as walking menaces.

As many will tell you, the real threat does not necessarily come from the “walkers” but the living and breathing people they encounter, the desperate men and women who will do anything to survive – and have!
