There are a lot of “survival experts” on television these days; as preparing for a disaster and survival concepts have become more popular.

These “experts” seem to pop up like Dandelions on a freshly mowed spring lawn.

Like most trends, though, many of these experts are either very unprepared and can only succeed in very controlled environments or they are on television because someone thinks they can attract viewers.

His common sense approach to survival in realistic settings exposes the viewer to survival challenges that could happen and advice on how to deal with them.

On the next page, we cover some of that advice that we consider must-have survival knowledge that you'll want to remember.
