(VIDEO) You Encountered a Mushroom While Bugging Out. Here Are the Ones You Should NEVER Eat.

You’re wandering, looking for food to forage in the woods. You’ve gathered some nuts and berries, but you need more sustenance.

All of a sudden, you see a cluster of mushrooms in the distance on some mossy roots. You run over to take a look. They appear to resemble the oyster mushroom, which you know to be edible. So, what do you do? Do you risk it?

Here’s some advice: DON’T EAT WILD MUSHROOMS. Even experts can make mistakes and ingest poisonous fungi that closely resemble an edible fungi.

For example, oyster mushrooms closely resemble Pluerocybella porrigens, otherwise known as Angel Wings, one of the deadliest mushrooms on the planet.

Take a look at ten of the most deadly wild mushrooms after the break! Some of these look alarmingly commonplace.

If you don’t know for sure don’t eat mushrooms. And by for sure I mean actually know, just because you read an Internet article doesn’t mean you know.

This is the most misleading mushroom video ever. I’ve eaten angel wings they are not dangerous, unless you’re very old and eat like 7 pounds in a day. And I’ve tasted destroying angel before. Not eaten, tasted. False morels are also usually edible if cooked, though I wouldn’t risk it. mushrooms are my hobby though. If you don’t have real hands on experience with mushrooms a bug out isn’t the time to teach yourself.
