Now that we are into winter we must think seriously about the cold and what it can do to us. It's not just that moment when you need to crawl out of bed and face an unheated, cold kitchen or bathroom floor but also the great outdoors! That’s right.

There will be frost and possibly even snow out there in the grass, roads, and if you plan on camping in the wilderness, practicing your survival skills, then you need to get serious about foot warmth!

Anything that keeps our feet cozy when the temperature outside has decided to dip below freezing is A-plus in our book!

Yet, when it is as easy as purchasing something you can buy at a dollar store this is most definitely something we need to be aware of!

After the break, go to the next page and watch the short but very helpful video regarding shoes, heat, and feet care. Socks are great but what they have in mind in this video is so much better!

I used to use dollar store duct tape and newspaper to make my shoes work. Two dollars and some scissors to keep moving through sasky winters.
