During winter it's a struggle to deal with the snow. You wake up in the early morn, get ready for work and then realize there's more snow on the ground since yesterday. That can only mean one thing — you have to go out and clean off the snow and ice off the windshield before leaving.
You may try to get your significant other to do it, but he's getting ready for work too. What about the kids? Sorry, but they're late getting ready — as usual — for school.

LOL! I believe that the moral of the story is preparedness and there is no 2 sec fix. Covering your vehicle is the only logical solution ( not fix) but it’ll take a few seconds longer than 1, 2.
So far I have seen a lot of fluff content designed to drive content to your ad and malware laden website in an attempt to force people to sign up for your BS lists and contests. You’re not a survival or prepping page, your a thinly disguised money grab.
Questionable advice: running the defroster with an accumulation of ice will cause the glass to crack. Better to use the dash vents to gently warm the entire interior. That will soften the windshield ice but take longer.
The clever trick is using your defroster… hardly clever, or a trick, or done “in seconds”. Way to get unfollowed. Tired of this crap.
Been using hot water on my windshield for years. Never had an issue in over a decade. BTW, there is no special trick mentioned. They say to “use your defrost” or “use an ice scraper”. Really lame click bait.

What’s wrong with putting a tarp over your vehicle
Want to defrost in second really. Take a spray bottle fill with 99 Isopropyl alcohol and water 10/1 ratio sprsy your window inside and out and whipe down. Iso is has a freeze point of about -88°c and bonds with water fairly well. It will melt ice and snow. Also acts as a frost reppellant to avoid build up of frost inside the window.
A roofing tar tortch works well…
Or you could just bypass all that bullshit anyways and just buy window washer fluid with de-icer in it. Boom windshield cleared in seconds

Put a little bit of rubbing alcohol in with the washer fluid in the winter
Put saran wrap over it. Peel it off . Tiny pieces of tape hold it on.
I use boiling water and just pour it over all the iced windows, it works EVERY time and in faster time than your defroster and scraper!
