(Video) While Hiking, a Man Caught Footage of Mountain Lion Attacking a Four Point Buck and it’s Incredible

In times of great distress, more and more people are turning to the raw purity of the wilderness. Even if it's just for a few hours, being able to ‘get away from it all' is becoming important to a greater number of Americans and those affected by the asinine politics and toxic workplaces of society today.

Some people are even taking this one step further and getting back to their roots, establishing homesteads and bugging out to the woods to turn their back on the way the world has become.

Regardless of your reasons, there are of course risks involved with this decision. One such risk is getting closer to the predators of the world; the real predators that we once feared when we all lived close to nature.

One of the most feared predators is the American Mountain Lion, as these hikers quickly found out. Check out the video on the next page.

You might want to pick up a couple picture books about animals.

Ida shot the cat so the buck could live and grow a little, then I’d shoot the buck.

I’m not sure but it’s better to be safe. I’m not a hunter but I have lots of friends who do. I didn’t mean to come off the wrong way.

I’m the type that would probably get hurt out some where like there. In Ohio where I’m from you don’t see cats like those . I’m not sure if Ohio has them. But I have heard befor of people getting hurt befor from them coming from behind people jogging or waking on trails. I’m one who likes to walk around checking new things out cause I love outside stuff. I like looking in creeks for different rocks. So if I came across something like that I truly wouldn’t know what to do lol.

Do you have any idea how many people hit deer with their vehicles and are injured/ killed? It’s called nature and that’s just the way it works.

Never get that close, and stay, to a lion’s kill. You may end up dead.
