During a SHTF moment, one of the most terrifying things to consider is your home defense plan.

Wherever you choose to take shelter after a disastrous event, whether it is your SHTF cabin out in the woods or your home, you need to consider what will happen if someone breaks in.

People will break in for multiple reasons: to try to loot your supplies, to take the shelter for themselves, or just to gain more control of the external situation.

And it’s essential that you are realistic about your home defense plan. If you’re not a trained fighter, don’t assume that you will be able to fight them simply off.
