While it is very unlikely any of us will have to build our own survival hut out of sticks, leaves and mud daub, what this guy can do is an example of the resourcefulness all of us need when faced with a survival situation or SHTF moment.

You simply never know, were we to encounter a truly devastating event, what skills you will have to employ in order to survive.

Basic building skills is just one of the many skills you need to master.

In this video, the guy made his own primitive tools, started fire from scratch, made his own bowls and used the natural resources around him to construct a fairly sturdy (if climate appropriate) hut – something that once built would require very little preventative maintenance to keep standing and in good orders.
