We all know how important it is to be as prepared as possible for a survival situation or SHTF moment, but what should you bring if you are headed out to the woods for a day hike, fishing or hunting trip or a weekend camping?

It would be nice to have your entire bug-out and survival kits with you, but with all the other gear you will be hauling, it is a bit impractical.

That means you must have a survival kit that is somewhere in between not having anything at all, but is not as extensive as a full blown survival get-up.
