Wouldn't it be cool to have your very own underground bunker? A place where you can run and hide every time a tornado hits, there is an EMP strike, or the in-laws come?
This is a common dream for preppers, although many shirk away from the idea due to cost and not wanting to look like a nutjob. You shouldn't let that bother you, though. What people think isn't as important as keeping yourself, your family, and your supplies safe and away from prying eyes.
One prepper decided not to let anything get in the way of his dreams, though and dug his own underground bunker by hand. And because he did it by hand, the cost was no longer an issue. All it took was a little bit of time, a little bit of elbow grease, and some clever use of space.

Would the earth itself shield you from radiation out would you need lead panels to do that?
That bunker would be ok for maybe a couple of days but definitely not long term
Don’t like it. Needs to be cleaner and organized. Where’s the bathroom or water? Bodily functions don’t stop you know.

Mine is a man made underground bunker and it has two ways out
A natural cave as a stopping place between point a and point b or a supply reserve is fine
But uf theres bombing or armed invasion it’s a no no
