We find ourselves truly admiring anyone who sincerely means what they say when it comes to living off the grid. In this case, it’s a determined man, Rob Greenfield, who is living debt free in his tiny house in San Diego, California!

When you listen to him he seems laid back and deceptively work-shy but when you really look into his lifestyle, the things he can do without and the way he has modified his existence you begin to understand his ambition and cleverness. This is not a shiftless man! He uses his brain and hands to do what he loves — and works pretty darn hard for a living.

It is not, of course, without sacrifice but Rob seems perfectly happy to live the life he’s chosen. There is no shower but he does have a composting toilet, an outdoor kitchen and, when it’s time to bed down, he sleeps in a small house that is made for relaxing in.
