I carry a 15 dollar mtech. It’s lasted for 4 years without an issue through hard training and hard use. I’ve had several other very expensive knives that haven’t done NEARLY as well. To a point it doesn’t matter how much you spend, some knives are just solid, and others arent. I also have another one on me as backup at all times.

Johnnie, that’s why I don’t depend on any knife company to make me a miracle blade. I only need any good blade that I keep sharp and as a MARINE, I am the knife, the knife isn’t me!

The buck 110 ive used ever since i got it back in ’84. Spyderco on my keys a few yrs. I like a karambit but to me theyre nothing more than a modified hawkbill pruning knife with more of the design geared toward a defensive/ offensive weapon.

I see a lot of negative comments about this. Karambits are a purely defensive knife, not meant for bushcraft or utility use but to simply cut flesh. I love this knife and all my karambits. They are not everyone’s cup of tea I admit but to those who are trained in its use this strange knife is as much a part of the owner as the hand is. Personally I love the karambit above all others. Best blade for self defense in my opinion

I’m not a cold steel fan, but I am a knife collector, and the knife community wouldn’t consider them crap.

If you’re going to buy a Karambit for self defense, do yourself a favor and get an Emerson.

MY POINT EXACTLY PATRICK! SO MANY WANT TO BE “BAD ASSES” WHO KNOW THE PERFECT FIREARM,PERFECT CALIBER, PERFECT SELF DEFENSE PRACTICE AND PERFECT KNIVES FOR DEFENSE!! BOTTOM LINE HERE; AGREED TRAINING IS A MUST AS LONG AS IT IS FROM SOMEONE OF A PROVEN BACK GROUND ” FORMER MMA,SPECIAL OPS ECT. WITH SOME REAL WORLD CREDIT NOT SOME WANNA BE WITH A DOJO AND SOME PRETTY LITTLE BELTS AND PHOTOS OF HIS PROGRESS ON THE WALLS! THESE PEOPLE WILL GET YOU KILLED! A BLADE OF ONLY 1/8 IN LENGTH CAN BLEED YOU OUT IN THE RIGHT TRAINED HANDS THE BEST BULLET IS THE 2 TO 4 ROUNDS YOU PUT IN EACH TARGET (HEAD IF POSSIBLE )!

I don’t see what your point is. You paid $600+ for a Medford in D2. To say anything costing less than 90 is total crap is an ignorant statement. Im a full-time Fire/Medic and I carry a Bemchmade Triage and a Spyderco Assist. I’ve used them in real life rescues. So your saying that if I want to be. “Tactical” and value my life and those of my Pts I need to spend 600 bucks on a knife that won’t perform as well as my $100 knife? Ok. I guess I’m the troll.

The karambit style blade is better for self defense , that I agree on. But the fox karambit uses cheap steel in their blades which is why I posted my dpx

Haha its so fuckin fun to troll. Funny how people who are secure in what they have never feel the need to defend it. Truth is this came across my news feed as sponsored and I make a point to be a total prick when that happens. I dont give a single$#%&!@*what yall carry at all lol. Why the$#%&!@*would I? I just know that when you make a comment about something that doesnt agree with the masses people trip. And yall did. Thanks for the entertainment
