Camping often means being cold. The two go kind of hand-in-hand. It seems that no matter how many warm clothes and socks you bring, or how thick your sleeping bag is, at three in the morning you'll always wake up shivering and have to bundle up even more just to get through the night.

There are solutions to this problem. You could always have some of those hand warmers stuffed in your sleeping bag, or you could have a battery-powered space heater.

But why not go whole-hog? Install a wood stove in that bad boy!

Sure wood stoves are not exactly the safest choice for camping because tents are made of highly flammable material. Sure, you'll be warm for a few minutes, but once the tent is finished burning to the ground, you'll find yourself shivering in the cold, worse off than you were.

This guy on today's video seems to have solved that problem with a DIY wood stove, complete with an insulated chimney that won't set the tent on fire.
