Predators in the food chain are feared and they have been for a long, long time. Survivalists fear them not because of the competition for food, but because they don't want to be taken down a few notches.
There are predators all around the world that many fear such as cheetahs, leopards, lions, and the list goes on. These are the creatures that send a chill down the spines of many a prepper who happen to encounter one in the wild. The reason why is that cats know we sleep at night, and that's a disconcerting thought.
In North American we have a big cat to keep a distance from called the mountain lion and this creature is stealthy and terrifying, to say the least.
It's very rare, but attacks by mountain lions can happen and when they do they often take place without warning.
As an example, a man happened to encounter just not one — but two mountain lions in his path. Ater that, it was only a matter of time until the cougars make their intentions known.
