(Video) This Cougar Attack Came Out of Nowhere. Where it Took Place? This is Crazy!

cougar attack

People have feared other predators in the food chain for as long as we can remember. Most people are fearful of them not only due to their competition for food but because we don't want to taken down a few notches.

Some of the scariest predators in the world include jaguars, lions, cheetahs, leopards, and the list goes on. These creatures often send a chill down anyone's spine, especially those who have seen them while bugging out. And the reason for that is because when we sleep out in the wild, the cat knows where we are.

Specifically, in North America, we have a big cat to fend off. This cat is called the mountain lion, and it is stealthy and terrifying as any other creature.

Attacks by a mountain lion are rare, but they can occur and when something like this does happen it can take place without little warning.

In fact, when a man encountered not one — but two mountain lions in his path he knew something was seriously wrong. After that, it was only a matter of time before these cats made their intentions known.

Watch this man's crazy experience with two wild cats and see what happens on the video on the next page.

Yes bear spray. Jogging on cat country. O the math. Glad you are OK buddy. Old video. Or as I see it motivator to run faster.

I noticed he said he saw the mountain lions cross the trail in front of him. I’ve heard before that if a mountain lion is stalking you it does it in a large circle around you. Crossing your path ahead of you and behind you until it finds a place it chooses to attack you from. This pattern has been noted especially when snow is on the ground because it’s tracks are visible crossing the trail.

What other kind of attack? A planned attack? Of course it was a surprise out of nowhere

Why do these videos always seem to be staged? I’m calling bullshit on this.

I had to mace a cougar to get her out of my truck then I had to circle back to throw her purse out

So…the guys sees two cougars and intentionally heads towards them just to use his bear spray on them to scare them off. REALLY??? He said the encounter was really scary, well DERP!!! Why would you go looking for trouble?? What would have happened if the second cougar had attacked while he was spraying the first one??? It’s too bad thath this guy didn’t win the Darwin award for this, he would have deserved firstv place. Dope!!!

After being prepared, the most important thing he did was to remain calm. I’ve been in a lot a dangerous situations and I attribute me coming away safely to staying calm and using my head. Everyone stay safe out there!

I didn’t actually SEE a cougar. I saw the guy wipe around and spray… I didn’t see an animal or anything. Just spray and a jingling camera. Why would you KNOWINGLY head toward 2 cougars anyway? One is bad enough but if there are 2 (besides, I thought cougars were solitary animals and if there were 2, they’d probably be more concerned with each other than some dumb guy), he’s a dead man.

Cougars would of stalked him regardless & worked out a solid plan of attack, smarter to confront them instead of acting like prey & if the second one attacked, you turn the spray on it.. ug Darwin was a dipshit as his followers

This is why people die in the forest . Could of been a mother teaching her young how to hunt or basic human reaction.. if yer lucky enough to see the cougar, don’t ignore it! Cause it sure as$#%&!@*won’t ignore you

If you watch the other video with the new report, it explains he was out running. He had the bear spray for his safety. The cougars just happened to be on the trail he was running. Usually wild animals run away when humans approach sometimes they dont. The news film isolates the video so you see the one cougar that approached.

  12. Michael Reeves said:

He’s crazy lucky! He did the absolute worst thing you can do with big cats and ran towards the end. The two rules you NEVER break with big cats are NEVER RUN AND NEVER TURN YOUR BACK.

  13. Donna Howard said:

Why would he start running after he shot the spray? What better way to be attacked then run like prey does! SMH.

I watched the video several times and could not see anything but light-colored movement in the left of the screen that was it, couldn’t tell what it was

He knows they are there, goes looking for them and then blasts them with bear spray?! Pisses me off!

Why is this bullshit$#%&!@*video, with absolutely nothing on screen, continuing to go around. Your spamming us with pointless$#%&!@* There is no cougar attack. Just some dipshit who sprays something off camera…. Cuz it wasn’t there. No audio of a cougar, no image. Nothing was there. This video is pointless, and it’s proof that since it keeps being pushed by you guys, that you’re a spam company now too, who only cares about click baiting people to get the click thrus you need to get paid.

  17. Kevin Metcalf said:

No the cougar definitely was visible in the video and you could hear it running through the brush at him.

  18. Russell Reinke said:

There’s nothing on the video. Watched it several times, even with ear buds. He just waives fog aimlessly at the left edge of the screen, off camera, then pans over to show his gay$#%&!@*orange fog. Then…. He starts jogging. No animal noises, no tracks, nothing. This is a bogus, lame$#%&!@* click bait video.

Anyone else find it funny, t g wrestling only a select few comments on this video, all reporting to see nothing, and now, magically, people who get replies, get private replies…. What’s so important that it can’t be said publicly, on a public page huh?
