It’s always fun to see the planning of a project then watch as its creator gets those first boards or branches in place. Our host decided he wanted to create a group shelter in the middle of the woods, just beneath a Yew Tree. When finished, he hopes to sleep four or more a time.

We loved the idea of bringing young and inspired men and women up to the shelter, training them with regards to surviving in the wilderness, and also happily camping and having a great time while roughing it. Talk about a terrific teaching tool!
