We always thought a yurt as a great option for those who want to live in a tiny house but do not necessarily want the smallness involved. We know that sounds like a contradiction but everyone wants comfort.

Even the most dedicated prepper, homesteader or survivalist needs their space and, in a yurt, that is not altogether impossible.

Again, there is a contradiction because anyone who knows anything about yurts knows they are a tall and round structure that is wide open. However, with a little configuring and imagination there is a way to make a designated space for you and your family.

But can a family really live comfortably in a yurt?
