It’s nice to have friends around when a shelter needs to be built. It doesn’t just make it quicker but your pals can share in the shelter during their own camping or hunting trips. They can also point out flaws or things that can be improved upon in the future!

The idea of building more than one shelter seems legitimately smart to us. Sometimes you haven’t a clue where you will end up and if the snow falls it is comforting to know that there is a place where you can warm up and relax.

We may worry about trespassers, especially if a shelter has been abandoned for a while, but the inconvenience is worth it for a warm place to rest while the snow is falling!
