Even those with a moral and religious background may find themselves compromised, possibly thieving if not outright partaking in physical violence to keep their families from experiencing something even worse. It will be a grave time, we are sure, yet we really cannot know what will be the norm until we experience it. There will be triggers and we’ve been prepping long enough to surmise what they will be – but how accurate will we be?
Matters can be far worse than even suggested in the video above and a scary prospect that is! Yet, there is always room for hope. This is why we and our families prep, train, and learn to survive. If there is a way to get through a post collapse, without harming or even killing, it will be we – the people who know what to expect – that will not just survive but also with logic, morality, food, and other provisions, and – yes – defense, not attack, against those who mean to do harm to us and ours.
None of us wants to cause injury or death and we would never write anything that would encourage anyone to do so. Yet, after a collapse – if you are being physically confronted but someone who clearly means to take your life – you will know (and so will God) what has to be done to maintain the human race against predators of both the animal and human variety — and save innocent lives.
Here is hoping the above is an over-statement. We sincerely hope it is.

The grocery stores are decimated when the forecast is for 6 inches of snow or sustained below zero wind chills. Can’t imagine what it would look like if SHTF. I’ll just sit in my backyard and watch.

Morality? In today’s society? It is already lost. The average person in today’s western world will step on a crippled grandmother to pick up a $10 bill.
Loss of morality? What an asinine suggestion. Law and morality are two very different things. If during a state of disaster people loot a grocery store to keep their family from starving then they are making a good moral decision that breaks the law. The governments would rather the population starve and not loot. Is that moral? If someone protects their family from a deadly threat with deadly force given no other choice, they have made a good moral choice. Morality will not go out the window in an end of the world scenario. Selfish people will continue to be selfish and good people will continue to be good.
