Having advanced warning that intruders are trying to threaten your safety will definitely come in handy when SHTF. Having some sort of trip wire that will alert you of potential intruders is an irreplaceable resource post-collapse and prior to a collapse as well.
With enough time to get a weapon for protection and gathering up family members to keep them safe, an intruder hopefully won't want to get any closer thanks to a tripwire bang alarm. What's fantastic about this alarm is not only is it affordable, but when expensive security has been wiped clean post-collapse, this is something that can keep you safe no matter what.
