You never know if you might have to bend or mold a piece of metal – to fix a pin on farming equipment for instance, where in a survival situation, you may not have the option of buying a new pin or parts may be scarce.

A rail road spike is actually barely good enough to make a suitable knife you thould make it from saw blades heavy springs from suspension and ect.
