When the grid goes down, when all the prepping that survivalist having doing over the months and years, proves to be advantageous – there will be those we have to fear. It may not happen in the first weeks after the SHTF but eventually not so wholesome people will come out of the woodwork. Keeping yourself protected, finding a good, safe place to live will be paramount.

The video on page two is a well- researched if fanciful look at a serious subject. While they are thinking “zombies” we are thinking about human predators. We would love to think everyone will pull together but, from a historical example, we know that is not always true.

After weeks of a SHTF scenario, when the situation becomes desperate and alarming, thinking men and women can be more frightening than a pack of hungry, mindless wandering zombie. Finding a place to keep your family safe and protected is not being weak – it’s being sane!
